Emma Curtis for KY — campaign identity & stationery system
Logo, letterhead, greeting cards, and return address stickers for a Kentucky State Representative campaign.
Serious and professional. Grounded and local. The Kentucky silhouette does a lot of work.
Emma Curtis ran for State Representative in Kentucky, and her campaign needed a visual identity that read as serious and professional while still feeling grounded and local.
The logo centers on a bold teal typographic lockup — "EMMA" and "CURTIS" stacked in a wide sans-serif, with "STATE REPRESENTATIVE" set in a smaller weight flanking a Kentucky state silhouette. The silhouette does a lot of work: it grounds the campaign in place without resorting to a flag or a cliché. Clean, confident, direct.
From there I built out a stationery system: letterhead, return address stickers sized for Avery 5160, and a set of greeting cards — a blank card and a thank-you card, each two-sided — for the campaign's ongoing constituent correspondence. Every piece maintains the same clean, teal-anchored visual language.
