An enamel pin design concept for LYG's annual Glitter Gala fundraiser.

Louisville Youth Group serves LGBTQ+ youth in Louisville, and their annual Glitter Gala fundraiser is one of their signature events. I designed an enamel pin concept for the 2023 event.
The design is maximalist and joyful: botanical forms in teal and coral red cut across a warm mauve background alongside expressive black graphic elements. "glitter gala 23" is set in a loose, casual script, and "lyg" is rendered in a bold brush-drawn style anchoring the lower left.
The color palette is confident and distinct from the organization's usual palette — appropriate for something meant to be worn, collected, and kept. This is a piece of merch that has to earn its place on a jacket or a bag.
